Get to know the role

We are seeking to hire DevOps/SRE engineers. Talented & passionate engineers are encouraged to join our team. With Hata, you will have opportunities to work, develop and manage Hata’s systems and environments. Hence, it is very important that you take the initiative to identify problems, and have the right mindset and skill sets to solve them.

Day-to-day Tasks

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or Gitlab Runner to streamline the deployment process.

• Work with development teams to ensure that the infrastructure supports all service requirements.

• Manage pre-production and production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Perform infrastructure capacity planning and management to meet performance and budgetary objectives.

• Proactively monitor system performance and reliability, addressing issues before they become problems.

• Develop and maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.

• Implement automation tools for efficient resource utilization and reduction of manual work.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to the current systems.

• Ensure compliance with security best practices in the infrastructure deployment and management processes.

The Must-Have

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.

• Proficient in scripting languages like Bash or Python.

• Experience with cloud services (Alicloud preferred) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation).

• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and log management (e.g., ELK stack).

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding of network fundamentals and security practices.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE role is preferred.
