Get to Know the Role
We are looking for energetic and meticulous HR Interns to join our Human Resource (HR) team. You will get hands-on experience in the full spectrum of HR operations, from talent acquisition in the high-growth tech sector to ensuring our practices align with the Malaysia Employment Act 1955 (Amendment 2022).
Day-to-Day Activities
1. Talent Acquisition
Assist in end-to-end recruitment: posting job ads on platforms like LinkedIn, Jobstreet, and AJobThing.
Screen resumes for technical and non-technical roles (Software Engineers, Compliance Officers, etc.).
Coordinate interviews and manage the candidate pipeline via our applicant tracking system.
2. HR Operations & Compliance
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a seamless "Day 1" experience.
Maintain and update company & employee digital records, ensuring data privacy in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010.
Support the team in tracking leave records (Annual, Sick, Paternity/Maternity leave & etc.) in accordance with the latest Employment Act entitlements.
3. Employee Engagement & Adhoc Tasks
Assisting in the coordination of company events and employee engagement initiatives while ensuring HR documentation remains aligned with statutory requirements.
Assisting in company-wide communications and departmental updates to ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.
Gather feedback from the team to help improve the workplace environment.
The Must-Have:
Bachelor in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Internship period of 4 months and above.
Strong command of English & Mandarin is a must; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
Ability to handle confidential information with high integrity.
A "can-do" attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments to support recruitment and HR initiatives.
Tech-savvy with a keen interest in Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, or the Fintech ecosystem is a plus.
